Magical Birthday Wishes

Magical Birthday Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
Here's my card for this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try.  I used RC's Unicorn Wishes set and an icy pastel color scheme for my birthday themed design.

The focal image is the unicorn from the Unicorn Wishes set.  The image was colored in pale shades of pink, purple, and gray.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a bit of glitter to the unicorn's mane and horn.  The die cut image was adhered to a circle cut from RC's Mist cardstock.  I stamped the set's "magical birthday wishes" sentiment at the bottom.  A pair of shimmery white clouds cut with a die from the Cool Friends set filled in the panel and balanced it out.  I adhered the panel to a pale purple card base with a wide strip of multicolored striped patterned paper along the left side. The panel was edged along the left side with a narrow strip of pink cardstock for a finished look. I tucked a strip of silver cardstock beneath the image panel, then adhered a trio of silver glitter enamel dots at intervals along the right edge of the patterned paper panel to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Unicorn Wishes stamp set, Mist cardstock, Unicorn Wishes and Cool Friends dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); Lilac Grace and Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Recollections Silver cardstock (Michaels); patterned paper (Doodlebug Design); circle die (Spellbinders); silver glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
