I couldn't resist using a new to me bear themed stamp set from Mama Elephant for my design. The bear and balloon bouquet were colored up with Copic markers, then cut out by hand. I used foam tape to place the bear on a light blue rectangle, then tucked a pair of die cut shimmery white clouds behind the raised image. The panel was matted on gray cardstock, then adhered to the left side of a pale gray card base. I matted a panel of pale gray patterned paper on gray cardstock and placed it on the right side of the cardfront, tucking the left edge underneath the image panel. The "have a beary good day" sentiment was stamped on a small gray panel and added over the two panels on the cardfront using foam tape for dimension.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

The peach I used is from the Paper Smooches Fruitastic stamp set. I colored up the image with Copic markers and cut it out with the matching die. The colored image was placed on a cream cardfront over strips of sage green and gold cardstock. It's hard to see in the photo, but there's a narrow strip of peach cardstock along the left edge of the sage green cardstock strip to pull in just a bit more of the peachy shade. The "you are a peach" sentiment was stamped on a narrow cream cardstock strip. After matting it on peach cardstock, I added it to the cardfront, tucking the left edge just beneath the raised peach image. Glad to have another thank you card for my stash!

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

My focal image is a die cut donut from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know stamp set. I die cut the donut from kraft cardstock and the icing from pink, then used a burgundy ink to add the stamped sprinkles. The panels on the cardfront were created from pink and burgundy cardstock scraps. I matted them on sage green panels before arranging them on a white panel. The donut die cut was adhered with foam tape. I tucked the narrow sage green strip under the donut, then stamped the birthday sentiment on the pink panel in the space just beneath the strip. The finished panel was adhered to an easy to write on pink card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

The flower and leaf pieces were die cut from cardstock scraps, then arranged in the envelope diecut. I placed the envelope on a yellow card base over a strip of peach cardstock that edged with a narrow strip of green for contrast. Instead of stamping a sentiment, I die cut the word "hello" from gold foil cardstock. After trimming down the left side of the die cut piece, I placed it on the cardfront, covering the seam between the peach and green strips and slightly overlapping the envelope. My focal image is the layered die cut word "love" made with a die from Reverse Confetti. To add interest, I used foam tape to pop up the heart that stands in for the "o." The word was placed directly on a kraft card base. I stamped the word "sending" from RC's Sending Smiles just above the die cut in black ink. I accented the word with a small die cut envelope and a red heart die cut.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

The sketch calls for a trio of circles, but I took a few liberties and replaced one with a stamped image--a pineapple from the Paper Smooches Pineapple Crush stamp set. I colored the stamped image with Copic markers before carefully cutting it out by hand. For the remaining round panels, I die cut circles from navy and lime cardstock and matted them on brown cardstock, then adhered the circles to a piece of lime dotted patterned paper. My last "circle" was created from a nest of gold thread that I topped with the pineapple image. The "thank you" sentiment from the PS Pineapple Crush 2 set was stamped on a strip of lime cardstock and adhered over the pineapple image with foam tape. I placed the panel on a brown card base matching the mats behind the round panels to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

I used a die cut mug created with the Coffee Break Companion dies from My Favorite Things as my focal image. The "all I need is you and coffee" sentiment from MFT's Coffee Order stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner of the cardfront in black ink.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

I love the PS snowmen! This one from the Winter Greetings set was stamped on shimmery white cardstock, then colored with Copic markers. I carefully cut out the image, then used foam tape to place it on a snowy hill on a navy card base. The "thank you snow much" sentiment was stamped on pink cardstock using words from several different PS sets. I placed the strip on the white portion of the cardfront using more foam tape. A trio of silver sequin "snowflakes" arranged in a triangular shape next to the image finished the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

I colored the bear with the balloon bouquet from ME's Beary Good Day stamp set with Copic markers, then carefully cut out the image by hand. I dug through my pads of paper to find something with a dusty blue-ish color before settling on this tone on tone diagonally striped pattern from a winter paper pad. The patterned piece was matted on a coordinating solid blue panel before I adhered it to the right side of a blush card base. I used foam tape to place the image at the lower left corner of the panel. The set's "flying by to say hi!" sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of white cardstock, then layered over the bear image to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

Instead I used stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti for this simple love themed design. After coloring up the ladybug image from RC's Lovebugs set with Copic markers and carefully cutting it out by hand, I set it aside to assemble the rest of the card. I cut the word "love" from pink and purple cardstock using RC's Big Love dies, then arranged the pieces on a pink card base. For dimension, I used foam tape behind the pink heart that serves as the "o." The "you're my" from the "you're my lovebug" sentiment was stamped in black ink just above the die cut word. I used foam tape to place the bug image at the bottom of the "e." To bring in the final challenge color--green--I used a paper punch to create a narrow strip of grass that I tucked beneath the bug to complete the card.

The To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

With her birthday coming just as we go back to work after winter break, I thought the coffee theme would be appropriate. Hopefully it will reach her in time for her birthday! I created a pair of die cut to go coffee cups and arranged them on an olive card base. I used a bold stamp/die pair for my focal point. The word "joy" from a classic limited edition stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps was stamped in gold on a navy die cut, then heat embossed to really stand out. I used foam tape to place the word on a purple panel. I stamped "it's the season of" above the die cut in navy ink, then tucked a narrow strip of green cardstock edged with gold beneath the raised word to set it off from the background. A little bit of gold thread was tied around the right side of the green strip and secured with a bow as a simple accent. The sentiment panel was placed on a gold panel over strips of blue and green cardstock. I centered the panel on a purple card base to complete the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

I made a simple scene using the stork image from Lawn Fawn's Plus One stamp set and the stitched sun and cloud dies from LF's Spring Showers. The stork was stamped on white cardstock and colored just a bit with Copic markers. The bundle was paper pieced with a scrap of peach patterned cardstock. I used foam tape to place the image on a blue panel with a strip of green "grass" along the bottom that I created with a border punch. The die cut sun and clouds were added to the top of the panel to balance out the scene. I adhered the panel to the left side of a peach card base. The "bundle of joy" sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of white cardstock and added to the bottom of the cardfront overlapping the image panel using foam tape.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

My focal image is a leafy branch created with Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamps and dies. It's hard to see in the photo, but the image outline is stamped in dark green ink. I used foam tape to adhere the branch to a green circle. After making a card base from the same green cardstock as I used for the round panel, I added a large yellow green panel at the center of the cardfront and topped it with a wide strip of black cardstock. The "thanks" sentiment from Altenew's Inside and Out: Thanks set was stamped on the black panel in white ink and heat embossed. It ended up looking like the chalkboard in the color swatch photo! The small circle was placed at the lower right of the black strip to complete the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

The layout for my design is based on the current sketch from TGIF Challenges. Since the birthday girl is a big fan of Daniel Tiger, I picked a cat image from Reverse Confetti's Heart Pals set as my focal image. I colored the cat and balloons with Copic markers before cutting the image out by hand and placing it on a white circle using foam tape. The patterned paper panels on my cardfront were pieces found in my scrap pile. The colors match the challenge pretty well and the patterns worked perfectly together. I matted all of the panels on green cardstock and arranged them on a pink card base. The "happy birthday" sentiment was created by combining words from two RC sets--Hooray and Happy Coordinates. The text was matted on green and added to the cardfront overlapping all three panels to finish the card. It's already on its way to the birthday girl!

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

My focal image is the large die cut "hello" created with Altenew's Tiny Sentiments: Hello die. I cut the word from coral cardstock and edged the bottom of the die cut with a narrow strip of navy cardstock for contrast before adhering it to the bottom of a white panel. I stamped the "you're amazing" sentiment from the Sentiment Strips set in navy ink on the bottom of the die cut, then added a navy triangle to to the top right corner of the panel. The sentiment panel was placed on a cardfront covered with a light blue patterned panel that I edged with a solid coral cardstock strip. A narrow navy strip serves as a transition between the two panels and adds contrast. I added final pops of navy with a triangle at the lower left corner of the cardfront and a half circle tucked underneath the left side of the sentiment panel.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

I cut a circle from blue dotted paper, then cut it into 1/2" strips before reassembling it on a blue cardstock panel. The round panel was dressed up with a yellow stitched die cut sun and a pair of shimmery white stitched clouds, all adhered with foam tape for dimension. I cut raindrops from navy cardstock and positioned them beneath the clouds. The navy is a nice contrast to the lighter blue. I brought in more navy by stamping the "better days are ahead" sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Better Days stamp set along the lower right side of the circle. The finished panel was adhered to a navy card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors

The layout is from the current challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. My focal image is a fun drink created with Lawn Fawn's Build-a-Drink dies. I used vellum for the liquid, coloring it with a blend of red and orange distress inks before placing it inside the glass die cut. The glass is layered over a cream card base with a trio of diagonal strips across the lower left corner. The top and bottom strips are orange layered over maroon cardstock. The middle strip is a fun gold dotted washi tape. I stamped the birthday sentiment from LF's All the Party Hats set on a cream strip and matted it on gold foil cardstock. The sentiment strip was layered on to the cardfront using foam tape for dimension. For fun pops of color, I added a red umbrella with a shiny gold handle and an orange slice along with a trio of gold sequins.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors
as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project
using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As
always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works
just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones
in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery,
use the keyword CTD759. If you upload your projects on social media,
go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd759 and #colorthrowdown. You can find
