Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas
For my take on the challenge, I focused on the striped background and the colors from one of the birdhouse images. The layout is from the current challenge at Paper Play Sketches.

My birdhouse was created with the CutUps Birdhouses die from The Cat's Pajamas.  I cut the die from both cardstock scraps and craft foam to get a dimensional piece when assembled.  The tree branch was hand cut from a scrap of dark brown cardstock.  I assembled the pieces on a soft gray on gray striped patterned paper panel, then stamped the "hello" sentiment from the Show Me the Monkey stamp set beneath them in red pigment ink.  The panel was matted on kraft cardstock, then edged with a piece of cream trim.  I adhered it to a pale gray panel over a contrasting red cardstock strip.  The finished panel was adhered to a kraft card base.
