Welcome, Little One

How cute are the airplane themed cupcakes that serve as this week's inspiration photo at the Inspired by All the Little Things challenge?  I couldn't resist creating a project based on the photo!

Welcome, Little One card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
The layout for my design comes from Sunday Stamps.  I made a simple scene using a light blue background panel with a shimmery white stitched cloud panel at the bottom.  The plane is from Reverse Confetti's Here We Go stamp set.  I stamped and assembled it, then used foam tape to adhere it to the scene.  The flight trail is a section of a pearl flourish.  I searched through my sentiments a bit before deciding to make this a baby card with the "welcome, little one" sentiment from the Fancy Word Coordinates set. The finished panel was adhered to a contrasting red card base.

Materials Used:
Here We Go and Fancy Word Coordinates stamp sets, Confetti Cuts Here We Go dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Lady Bug and Gray Flannel inks, Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red, Bashful Blue, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); pearl flourish (Want2Scrap); foam tape
