Here's my card for this week's CAS(e) this Sketch challenge. I went super clean and simple, using some stamps from Papertrey Ink and a little patterned paper to put this design together in no time at all.
For a backdrop, I adhered a piece of star patterned paper to an aqua card base. I used the rocket from the Boy Basics: Out of this World stamp set to represent the sketch's zig zag element. I die cut the image from white cardstock, stamped it with the matching image, and colored with Copic markers, using mostly red for a nice contrast against the blue star patterned paper.
After adhering the rocket to the cardfront with foam tape, I added a piece of a clear crystal flourish extending out from behind the rocket as a flight trail. The set's "you're out of this world" sentiment is stamped underneath the patterned paper panel to finish the card.
Material Used:
Boy Basics: Out of this World stamp set, Aqua Mist cardstock, Rocket die (Papertrey Ink); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black and Teal Zeal inks (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Campy Trails-Elk Creek Trail designer paper (American Crafts); clear crystal flourish (Michaels); foam tape
