Handwritten style fonts are a big trend right now and the new The Big, the Bold, and the Happy set from Winnie and Walter may just be my favorite example of this trend. I put it to use on this design based on both the peachy color scheme from the current Curtain Call Inspiration challenge and the current Deconstructed Sketch--adjusted to fit an A2 sized card.
I started off by stamping the "with love" sentiment in gold ink on a pale, pale pink fishtail flag panel, then embossing the words in gold. The embossed panel is layered over a paper doily with coordinating circles. I topped the fishtail flag panel with a narrow white fishtail flag strip. It doesn't look straight in the photo, but it is IRL, I promise! The strip is anchored with a die cut gold heart. I made a tiny bow from a piece of gold twine and added that to the heart with a teeny, tiny glue dot.
The dressed up doily is adhered to a piece of peachy dotted paper set on a pale pink card base to match the sentiment panel. To bring in just a bit more of the sparkly gold element, I scattered a trio of gold sequins around the panel.
