Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 210-You Rock My World
It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I combined the sketch with this week’s TCP Tuesday challenge-"march" to the beat of a different drummer by creating a project that incorporates music.
I used one of the penguin images from the (now discontinued . . .)Idols set from The Cat’s Pajamas for my card. I stamped the image with Versafine’s black ink—my favorite for the TCP penguin images—then used Copic markers to color the image. The instruments are paper pieced with shiny silver paper to give them a metallic look.
To go with the image, I found a piece of star patterned paper. I matted it on a piece of golden yellow cardstock and adhered it to a kraft cardstock panel. A piece of golden yellow striped patterned paper was layered on top and the image panel was adhered over that. I stamped the “you rock my world” sentiment at the end of the striped panel in black ink.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
