Here’s my card for this week’s Muse challenge. I was inspired by the colors in Jacquie’s card as well as her use of die cut elements against a white embossed background.
I used the word “celebrate” from the My Favorite Things Accent It-Celebrate die set as my focal image. The word was cut from aqua cardstock, then “underlined” with a green fishtail flag strip. I adhered the die cut pieces to a white panel embossed with a diagonal line pattern. To anchor them, I added a die cut navy blue star, using foam tape for dimension. I accented the star with a trio of blue enamel dots.
Materials Used:
Die-namics Accent It-Celebrate and Fishtail Flag Layers Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Hawaiian Shores and Simply Chartreuse cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); white cardstock (Michaels); stitched star die (Lil’ Inker Designs); Linear embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); enamel dots (Freckled Fawn); foam tape
Love your clean interpretation of Jacquie's Muse card, Lori! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
