I had a few extra to go cup images left over from when I printed out the ones I used for my card for yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch, so I used one of them for my card for the current Viva la Verve sketch. These images will be available as a free download until October 15 (here), so be sure to check them out soon if you want to have them in your collection.
I colored the to go cup with Copic markers, then used foam tape to adhere it to the left side of a kraft cardstock panel. The pumpkin on the to go cup went perfectly with the "hello pumpkin" sentiment from Verve's Bountiful Harvest set, so I stamped it next to the cup in brown pigment ink. The words were accented with a pair of copper brads. They're one of my go-to fall embellishments.
I covered a rusty orange card base with a piece of cream and rust patterned paper. I set a rusty orange cardstock panel on top of the patterned paper, then layered a narrow strip of dark brown cardstock across the panels. The sentiment panel was adhered on top to finish the card.
Materials Used:
Bountiful Harvest stamp set and Latte Love digi set (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Canyon Clay cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Be(you)tiful 6x6 paper pad (Authentique); copper brads (Michaels); corner rounder; foam tape
Such a perfect fall card. Love the shading on your cup. Thanks for playing along with Viva la Verve!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Lori! I love your autumn colors and, yes, I had to pop over and snag those lovely digis. Julee was too generous giving those away during the CLBH.
