Here's my card for this week's Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I kept things neutral here with a pop of color and a touch of sparkle from metallic accents.
I built my design on a pale gray card base covered with a panel of darker gray paper with a gold triangle pattern. The long fishtail tag sentiment strip was creatively cut from pale gray cardstock using a combination of tag and fishtail flag dies. After stamping the long tag with a sentiment from Verve's Wonderful Marvelous set in gray pigment ink, I topped it with a pretty silvery gray bow tied with my Bow Easy. A gold half circle die cut was adhered to the cardfront, tucking the edge underneath the side of the tag. I accented the sentiment with a trio of hearts cut with the Heart Quartet die.
Materials Used:
Wonderful Marvelous stamp set, Heart Quartet die (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock, Die-namics Fishtail Flag Stax and Traditional Tag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); gold paper, silver satin ribbon (Target); Be Bold Be Bright 6x6 paper pad (The Paper Studio); circle die (Spellbinders); Bow Easy; foam tape
Love the sentiment love your card.. Have a blessed day
