It's been a while since I inked up my WPlus9 Happy Birds set, so when I saw all of the circles on the layout from the current Sunday Stamps challenge, it was the perfect opportunity to break out this fun set.
I colored up one of the set's birds using Copic markers, then cut out the image with the matching die. I used foam tape to adhere the bird to a pale blue cardstock background. One of the set's sentiments was stamped beneath the bird in navy blue pigment ink. I replaced the rest of the layout's circles with clouds cut from shimmery white cardstock. Two of the clouds were accented with white sequins. The finished panel was adhered to a navy blue card base.
Materials Used:
Happy Birds stamp set, Happy Birds dies (WPlus9); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Gray Flannel and Nautical Blue inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Spring Rain cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Night of Navy and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white sequins; foam tape
Great take on the layout and that bird is beyond adorable!
