Here's my card for this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for You To Try. I used the layout to put together a floral thank you design.
The card features a bunch of classics--a polka dot pattern and a gray and red color scheme. For the background, I covered a red cardstock panel with a pair of angled panels, one black and white dotted and one solid gray. The panel was adhered to a pale gray card base.
I stamped the "thank you" sentiment from the All About You set in red pigment ink on a white pierced circle die cut and added that to the cardfront. The panel was accented with a dotted red flower stamped with an image from the Petals 'n Posies set and cut with the matching die. I accented the sentiment panel with a trio of different sized red enamel dots for a final pop of color.
Materials Used:
All About You and Petals 'n Posies stamp sets, Petals 'n Posies dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Love Letter, Pear Tart and Gray Flannel inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Something Wonderful 6x6 paper pad (Teresa Collins); Recollections red enamel dots (Michaels); foam tape
Lori, love your sweet card!
