I couldn't resist the fun jungle animal dies and sentiments in the newest card kit from My Favorite Things! I love how quickly the animals can be assembled without stamping. Here, I used one of the elephant images to make a thank you card based on the current sketch at The Paper Players.
I die cut the elephant from a pair of scraps--the body from gray cardstock and the ear from dotted gray patterned paper. The eye was made with a tiny black enamel dot. I used foam tape to set the elephant over a trio of green paper strips arranged on a kraft cardstock panel. The "thanks a ton" sentiment from the coordinating Jungle Friends stamp set was stamped in gray pigment ink on the pale green grass-edged strip. I adhered the finished panel to an easy to write on light green card base.
Materials Used:
Jungle Friends stamp set, Cement Gray cardstock, Die-namics Jungle Friends dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss, and Kraft cardstock, Simply Chartreuse patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); gray dotted patterned paper (Michaels); Grass border punch (Fiskars); black enamel dot (Doodlebug Design); foam tape
