SugarPea Designs May Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop

It's time for the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop!  Now that our April release has been available for a while and lots of you have gotten your hands on the new goodies, we're back to share even more inspiration using the latest arrivals in the store.

It's been kind of chilly here this week (at least for early May!), so I went tropical for my project featuring the Pineapple Paradise stamp set and coordinating SugarCuts Pineapple Paradise die

The  background for the pineapples was made from a panel of watercolor paper cut with one of the SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles dies smooshed with some watered down distress inks.  I adhered a gold paper strip across the panel, then wrapped a bit of twine around in loopy circles before adding the pineapples on top with foam tape.  The pineapples were accented with some clear sequins from the Sea Spray sequin mix.  I stamped the "thanks" sentiment above the pineapple, then matted the panel on gold paper.  The finished panel was adhered to a green card base.
