I was inspired by all of the white and shiny elements in the photo, including the couch and the sparkly snowflake pillow sitting on it. For my card, that translated to a shimmery white card base. For contrast, I used a gray and white striped panel across the top of the card. The elegant, classic "season's greetings" sentiment from Avery Elle's Christmas Cheer set was stamped on the patterned panel in black pigment ink, then heat embossed in black so it would stand out from the striped pattern. The panel was matted on silver cardstock for more sparkle.
The focal image is a silvery wood veneer snowflake from a package of snowflakes I picked up in the Target dollar spot. They were three dollars and not one dollar, but I thought they were still a pretty good value!
