Here's my card for
the current sketch at Global Design Project. Instead of stamping I did a little stenciling on this winter themed holiday design.

I used a pretty snowflake stencil and two pink distress inks for my image. This was the first time I tried applying inks to a stencil using brushes and I'm really happy with the result! I hated to cover the pretty snowflake, but I did anyway. After wrapping the panel with some festive twine, I added a little silver tag stamped with the "warmest wishes" sentiment from the Clear and Simple Stamps Cover Plates 1 stamp set. The panel was matted on sparkly silver paper, then adhered to a bright pink card base.
Materials Used:
Cover Plates 1 stamp set, Favor Flags dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick distress inks (Ranger); silver paper (Target); Maryanne Snowflake stencil (Simon Says Stamp); twine (Divine Twine); Bow Easy; foam tape
