Here's my card for the current Paper Smooches pastel themed color challenge. This was the perfect opportunity to use the new to me Rad Roses die! I pieced the flowers and leaves using various pastel colors of cardstock--yellow, purple, pink, and mint green--before using foam tape to adhere the flower cluster to the right side of a yellow on yellow dotted patterned paper panel. To go with the flowers, I stamped the "thanks bunches" sentiment from the Kindness Sampler set on a narrow rosy cardstock strip and placed it at the top left side of the dotted panel. I adhered the dotted panel to a yellow cardstock panel, then arranged a trio of pink matte enamel dots around the flower cluster. The finished panel was adhered to a mint green card base to match the color of the leaves in the die cut flower.
Materials Used:
Kindness Sampler stamp set, Rad Roses die (Paper Smooches); Hibiscus Burst, Winter Wisteria, Lemon Tart, and Mint Julep cardstock (Papertrey Ink); designer paper (Stampin' Up!); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
