Here’s my card for this month’s Reverse Confetti color challenge. I paired the colors with the current Mojo Monday sketch for this sweet design.
I started off with a pale gray cardstock panel. It’s topped with a bold solid red cardstock strip and a piece of gray on gray striped paper. To add a little texture to the design, I tucked a strip of gray mini pom pom trim underneath the left edge of the gray paper before wrapping a strip of silver satin ribbon across the panel.
The “s.w.a.k” sentiment from the Crushin’ stamp set was stamped in red pigment ink on a light blue half circle, then added to the cardfront so that the straight edge was tucked underneath the top of the satin ribbon. I used the heart dies from the Love Notes die set to cut a pair of red and gray hearts to use to accent the sentiment panel. For a little sparkle, I added a trio of red sequins around the panel. The finished panel is adhered to an easy to write on card base.
