Here's my card for this week's sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. As soon as I saw the layout, my mind went to office supplies. I saw the little angled piece at the top of the strip that runs across the card as a paper clip and that's what was the basis for this design.
I stamped my own notebook paper for the cardfront's angled panel. I used the SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card die set from SugarPea Designs to cut the panel from white cardstock, then used SPD's Noted set to stamp the lines on the paper. Once the lines were in place, I added the panel to the kraft card base, then stamped the "just a note" sentiment in gray ink.
The strip across the top of the card is made from cardstock that matches the colors of the lines on the notebook paper panel. I used silver cardstock and another die from the Notebook Journal card set to make the small paper clip. After adding it to the top edge of the cardstock strips, I adhered the strips to the cardfront.
Materials Used:
Noted stamp set, SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card die (SugarPea Designs); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Cherry and Aquamarine inks (Avery Elle); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Hawaiian Shores and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Recollections silver cardstock (Michaels)
What a pretty CAS card Lori!
