The Challenge 47-Hello Pumpkin

***  Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch!  ***

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  This week we've got an inspiration challenge featuring a fabulous photo of pumpkins.  I used stamps from Reverse Confetti along with the current sketch at Match the Sketch for my pumpkin themed creation.

Hello Pumpkin card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
Since the dominant colors in the photo were black, orange, and white, I used those to design my card.  I started with a black card base, then added orange cardstock with an orange patterned paper panel on top.  The patterned paper was matted with black cardstock for a nice pop.  I adhered a piece of white paper doily to the patterned paper, then topped the doily with a pair of kraft banner strips to make one long double ended banner strip.

I stamped the pumpkins from the  Forever Fall set using orange and kraft pigment inks, then cut out the stamped images.  They were adhered to the kraft banner strip, covering the seam between the two pieces.  The "hello pumpkin" sentiment was stamped in the bottom right corner of the patterned paper panel.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created using this week's photo as inspiration.  Here's where to find them:
