Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. I had a retirement party to go to over the weekend, so I used the sketch to make a card to go along with my gift for the retiree.
I inked a tag die cut with several different distress inks to get a night sky look. After filling the sky with some stamped silver stars and a crescent moon, I stamped the sentiment near the bottom of the tag. I stamped a bunny image on a matching die cut, then colored it with Copic markers. The colored image was adhered to the tag with foam tape, positioned to look like it was gazing at the moon and stars.
I topped the tag with a seam binding double looped bow made with my Bow Easy. It's been a while since I used it, so it took a few tries to get it right . . . I covered a pale yellow green card base with some delicate floral patterned paper, then added strips of coordinating solid cardstock to the cardfront. I slipped in a bit of silver, too, to match the tag's stars. The tag was adhered on top.
