Post your project in the Paper Craft Planet photo gallery, and use the tag "PCPgrafico". (Here is a tutorial on adding pictures to the gallery, if you need it.) MyGrafico has generously offered a $10 gift certificate to the store to one of our lucky challenge players.
The Supernovas and I all used the Forest Friends digi stamp set for our cards. I used the bird as my focal image. I printed the bird a few times on white cardstock and ended up using pieces from two of the printed images on my card. I colored one of the images with Copic markers and cut it out with a circle die. The wing is cut out from a second bird image that was printed slightly larger. I covered the colored image with some Angel Wings Shimmerz for a little sparkle.
I used some American Crafts rub-on letters for my sentiment. It’s on an oval punched piece and embellished with a pair of Prima flowers to match the plaid paper on the cardfront. I had originally planned on using the reverse side of this designer paper, but I flipped it over to the plaid side and actually liked it better that way.
Just a note about working with digital stamps:
- You do NOT have to have a photo editing software. You can just open and print these jpg images.
- If you have a photo editing program, the images come in both jpg and png files. You can resize the images and combine them into scenes with just a click of the mouse.
- Digital images last forever and require very little storage space!
- There are several great tutorial videos over on Paper Craft Planet that will show you how to use digital images, if you have any questions.
