Sparkly Merry & Bright

I made this almost no stamping card using this week' s sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. It's fun and seasonal with lots of sparkle.

The focal image is the big sparkly acetate snowflake. I accented it with a red button with a twine bow before layering it on the card. The panel underneath the snowflake is a piece of glittered My Mind's Eye paper. I added a coordinating pleated ribbon border along the left side of the panel, held in place with some sewing machine stitching.

The sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Holiday Tree set is stamped in bold red ink. I added a scallop edged accent to the upper right corner of the card in matching red. A dot of Silver Liquid Pearls is on each scallop for a little more sparkle and shine.

Materials Used:
Holiday Tree stamp set, Aqua Mist cardstock, Pure Poppy ink, Pure Poppy button, twine (Papertrey Ink); Real Red and Kraft cardstock (Stampin' Up!); snowflake (Me & My Big Ideas); blue seam binding tape (Martha Stewart); Silver Liquid Pearls (Ranger); sewing machine
