TCP Tuesday 214-The Sky Is the Limit

For this week’s TCP Tuesday challenge, Susan’s challenged us to use a stamp with something that you can blow on or that can be blown along with either the CutUps Cloud Border or Pinwheel die. I used the Away We Go set along with a few puffy clouds for my card for the challenge.

The card is based on the current Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I used the hot air ballooning bunny as my focal image, set against a polka dotted blue “sky” panel with a few scattered felt clouds from a Cloud Border die strip that I cut apart. Instead of coloring the hot air balloon, I paper pieced it with a scrap of striped paper.

I layered the panel on to the aqua card base over another piece of dotted paper that coordinates with the striped balloon. A strip of light pink grosgrain ribbon and a few little pink buttons, threaded with linen thread, accent the panel. The set’s “the sky is the limit” sentiment is stamped on the dotted panel.
