Trick or Treat?
The Collection 5 release continues today at Clear and Simple Stamps with the release of several new stamp sets and coordinating dies that are perfect for Halloween—and beyond! I’m showing off the new Apothecary: Holidays and Sweet Sentiments: Holidays sets today.
If you already have the CSS Apothecary: Sweets set and coordinating dies, you’re in luck! These new sets are perfect add-ons to the fun apothecary jars in your collection.
Here, I used the jar outlines and matching dies to create a pair of jars then filled them with spooky treats from the Apothecary: Holiday set. I arranged the jars on an orange cardstock panel along with a layered Favor Flag banner stamped with the “trick-or-treat” sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments: Holidays set. The panel is accented with some striped washi tape and a button in the upper right corner, then layered on a contrasting green card base.
To go with the card, I made a box of spooky treats. The box is made with the Party Favor 2 die set. I used one of the circle dies from the Shapes: Circles set to make an opening in the lid that I lined with acetate to keep the treats contained securely inside. I used more of the orange striped washi tape over the opening—it kind of reminds me of “caution” tape!—and added the “eat at your own risk” sentiment on a white panel accented with a Favor Flag die cut piece and a black button.
