CSS Release in Review-Rainbows and Sunshine
Clear and Simple Stamps is kicking off our release in review week with some new projects featuring groupings from Collection 5. I'm sharing a fun ensemble I created using several cloud themed stamp and die sets from this collection.
I made a little card and coordinating treat featuring the new cloud stamps, sentiments, and dies. The card features a rainbow made by layering a trio of circles die cut with different circle dies from the Shapes: Circle set. I cut the circle in half to get the rainbow shape—so easy (thanks, Steph!). After I adhered the rainbow to the light blue panel, I added a cute dotted cloud, die cut from shimmery white cardstock and stamped with the coordinating image from the Cloudy Days set, and a button sun tied with a matching baker’s twine bow. The “wishing you rainbows and sunshine” sentiment from the Cloudy Days Sentiments set is stamped just under the rainbow in Simply Blue-tiful ink.
The treat is a bunch of Skittles candies, arranged in “rainbow order” in one of CSS’s clear treat bags. I made a tag for it using the other half of the rainbow along with another die cut cloud. This time, I used the set’s “hello, sunshine” sentiment and accented it with a strip of decorative tape underneath it.
