Boxes, Bags, and Bows

The theme for today’s Clear and Simple Stamps group project is boxes, bags, and bows. I’ve got two of the three covered with this trio of pretty sets of boxed cards. Each box holds a set of three 3x3 mini cards perfect for little notes. I dressed them up with the Flower Buds stamp set and some sweet bows cut with CSS’s new mini bow dies.

The boxes are made with the new Party Favor 8 die. The box has a fold-over flap on top—so many design possibilities with this! I kept it simple here, just cutting the boxes from textured cardstock and assembling them, then adding a coordinating belly band to each one using matching cardstock and dotted patterned paper.

 Each box is decorated with a circle filled with a trio of flowers stamped with the Flower Buds set and die cut with the matching Flower Buds dies. I picked a spring-like pink and yellow color palette for the flowers. I topped each circle with a different style bow made with the Bow Trio Mini dies. These are so pretty and so easy to assemble, too. The bow is one piece, so there’s no worrying about losing any tiny pieces as you put it together—genius, I tell you!

Each box holds a trio of simple 3x3 mini cards. I used the Imprints 2 plate to make a pretty textured panel for the front of each mini card. The plate coordinates with the images in the Flower Buds set, so it was perfect for this project. The textured piece is adhered to a solid cardstock panel, then the pieces are attached to a white card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Flowers stamp set on a narrow Favor Flags die cut matching the solid cardstock panel and adhered the stamped piece to the card.
