The Cat's Pajamas July Release Blog Hop
Welcome to the July release blog hop at The Cat’s Pajamas! The six stamp sets, five CutUps die sets, and two Cutables cut files that the Cat Pack has been sharing with you for the past week are now available in the TCP store. You should be arriving here from Nancy’s blog. If not, head over to Wendy's blog to start from the beginning.
My project for the hop highlights the new Lemons stamp set and the Cutables Popup Slider cut file. I cut the file from green cardstock, then cut the coordinating mats from a piece of green patterned paper and the tag from aqua cardstock. After assembling the base, I decorated it with the big eared bunny and lemonade stand from the stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers, then adhered to the front of the slider with foam tape, taking care to position the image so it would not get folded when the card was opened. I added a die cut strip of grass along the bottom and a die cut stitched cloud and a twine-tied button sun to fill in the scene.
I lined the inside of the slider with a piece of lemon yellow cardstock. One of the set’s sentiments was stamped on the yellow paper in green pigment ink. I love the fun surprise you get when you open one of these cards!
To celebrate our latest release, we’re inviting you to join in and hop along with us in our month long Summer Blog Hop. To play along, just create a new project using your TCP stamps/dies and add a link to your project to the linky widget on the TCP blog. One lucky hop participant will win a voucher to the TCP store.
For your next stop, hop on over to Celeste's blog. She's our Swanky Stamper and has some fabulous stuff to share with you!
