Seriously, You Rock

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I went with some bold, saturated colors for my design.

Seriously card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsI adhered an angled orange on orange dotted patterned paper panel to the upper right corner of a bright pink card base. The patterned paper was matted on dark gray cardstock to set it off from the cardfront.  I die cut "seriously" several times from pink cardstock, then stacked the die cut pieces.  After adding a dark gray die cut at the bottom of the stack and offsetting it slightly for a shadowed look, I adhered the word to the patterned paper panel.  The "you rock" sentiment from the Lil' Inker Designs Seriously Awesome set was stamped just beneath the die cut in black ink.  I accented the corner of the panel with a die cut gold star.  A crystal flourish extending out from beneath the star added one final touch of sparkle to the card.

Materials Used:
Seriously Awesome stamp set, Seriously Word and Stitched Star dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Versafine Onyx Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Raspberry Fizz and Smokey Shadow cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); Sunkissed 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design); crystal flourish (Prima); foam tape
