Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 285-I Made a Wish
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! As promised in my post yesterday, I'm delivering another bunny themed design. This one features stamps from WPlus9.
I used the sketch's square panel to build a simple backdrop for my bunny pair from the Wishing You set. The bunnies, colored with Copic markers and cut with the matching die, were adhered to the scene using foam tape. For a little texture, I filled in their cottontails with a bit of white flock.
I replaced the star trio in the upper left corner of the panel with a crescent moon and a pair of gold enamel dot "stars." The "I made a wish and you came true"sentiment was stamped in the lower left corner of the scene in black ink. The finished scene was adhered to a square blue card base over a strip of coordinating teal cardstock.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog. Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch. And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch.
Materials Used:
Wishing You stamp set, Green Acres and Lake House cardstock, Wishing You dies (WPlus9); Memento Tuxedo Black and Versafine Onyx Black inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Crushed Curry and Taken with Teal cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Beachside 6x6 paper pad (Lawn Fawn); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); circle punch (EK Success); white flock (Stampendous); gold enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape

ReplyDeleteYou've done a gorgeous take on the sketch. I love how the bunnies stand out against the starry DSP.
