I used the new Owl You Need Is Love set for my card for the hop--and for the Anything Goes theme for the new TCPTuesday 306 challenge. I colored the owls with Copic markers in a mostly neutral color palette of browns and grays. The only pops of color come from the green leaves and the small pink hearts.
I used foam tape to adhere the colored image to a pink dotted panel on a pale pink card base. The dotted panel was edged with a kraft strip and a decorative scalloped border cut with TCP's CutUps Queen of Hearts border die. I stamped the set's "owl always love you" sentiment directly on the dotted paper in brown pigment ink. It's accented with a small bow made from sheer white organza ribbon.
Ready to play along with our TCP Tuesday challenge? I hope so! Here are the challenge details:
- Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog as well as on our Facebook page.
- If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button found on the blog.
- You must have your project posted by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge to be eligible to win the Cat Cash.
- Cards and projects are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas Stamp or CutUps die but if you do the Cat Cash amount increases.
- On the following TCP Tuesday, the week’s winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
