You Are Pawsome

Here's my card for the current (for a few more minutes) My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch challenge.  I used the layout to create a simple scene to show off one of the cute pups from the Four-Legged Friends stamp set.

I colored my four-legged friend with Copic markers, then used the matching die to cut out the colored image.  For the background for the image, I cut a blue on blue dotted panel with the large stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 24 die set and added a drab green strip of grass, made with a border punch, on top.  The pup was positioned on the scene using foam tape.  I filled it in with a yellow pinking circle sun and a shimmery white flat-bottom cloud placed at the panel's top left corner.  The set's "you are pawsome" sentiment was stamped on a pale blue cardstock strip and tucked beneath the bottom edge of the grass strip.  I adhered the finished scene to a coordinating teal card base.
