I made the gifts by "kissing" the circular patterned stamp on to the gift box stamp, then stamping the gift box stamp on shimmery white paper. I added a tiny rhinestone where the gift box and the bow meet for a little dazzle.
The sentiment is stamped on a narrow strip of Certainly Celery cardstock that's placed under the patterned paper layer. No worries about lining up the sentiment.
I'm off to spend a rockin' evening with some girlfriends. We're heading to the Verizon Center to see The Police in concert!! I'll share my review of the show tomorrow if you're interested . . .
But, before I go, as promised, since my blog has reached the milestone of 50,000 visits, I have some blog candy to offer. No time to take a photo since I'm getting ready to leave, but here's what it will include:
- Fixings for fall fun: a 54 sheet pack of 4 1/2" 6 1/2" textured cardstock in earth tone colors plus a tube of self-adhesive fall leaves for decoration
- Beautiful bling: a jar of Martha Stewart's super fine glitter in Sterling and a box of flower jewels
- Stamps, stamps, stamps: seven packages of StudioG clear acrylic stamps (from AC Moore/Michaels), plus a square block for stamping with them
- Ribbon: three sampler spools of fun ribbon
- Clear container: 1 tall, clear paint can to carry it all (and to decorate, too)
If you'd like to win the blog candy, leave a comment on this post. If you want, you can share about a favorite concert you've attended (certainly not required, but fun to find out what everyone likes to listen to . . .) I'll select a winner on Thursday evening using a random number generator. Thanks so much for visiting Inking Aloud!

I don't really have a favorite concert, but I do have a favorite location. I went to a show at Red Rocks, just outside Denver Colorado, and while the show was so-so, the scenery was breathtaking. If you ever get a chance to go to Colorado, check it out. You won't be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity for some "candy"!

Congrats on all your hits. I love the card. I have that window punch and I always forget to try and find words that fit in it. Thanks for the reminder! The last concert I went to was this summer - K.C. and the Sunshine Band. It was outdoors and rained almost the entire time but my friend and I had a blast and danced through the whole concert. He's such a great performer and the rest of the band was awesome! Thanks for the chance to win.
