i {Heart} Blog Candy

I have some fantastic blog candy to share with you courtesy of Kate at i {heart} papers. The fun assortment includes all of the items pictured here: the Winter Family stamp set from Stampendous, one piece of My Mind's Eye Snowball Fun designer paper, one yard of 5/8" pink twill, and one yard of 3/8" solid metallic ribbon. Perfect for the winter holiday season!

I haven't asked her to do this yet, but she's been my number picker for all (or most) of my blog candy giveaways so far and I'm pretty sure she'll want to keep her job!

And in addition to blog candy, I'm including some eye candy in this post. I made a card using all of the items in the giveaway, just to give you a little inspiration. I haven't made one of these tent toppers in a while and I thought the snow family would look so cute in the topper.

I stamped the family on a shimmery white cardstock circle and colored them with Copic markers. I added a little Diamond Stickles to embellish them. I stamped a "frame" for the image using the sparkle stamp from the set and Baja Breeze ink.

I covered the cardfront with a panel of the Snowball Fun paper. I used my Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the "winter wishes" sentimente directly on the pink twill. I tied a knot in one end of the twill strip and threaded a piece of sparkly silver ribbon through the knot before attaching it to the cardfront. Cute!
