Kitchen Sink Monday: Oh Nuts!

It's time for another Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday. For this week's project, I tried something I haven't attempted before--a wiper card.

I used images from the 3 Step Autumn Squirrel set for this interactive card. The front of the card features the squirrel image, stamped in shades of brown ink on a cream panel. I sponged on a little more brown ink along the edges of the panel and added the "oh nuts!" sentiment, too.

The squirrel image is paired with some acorn patterned paper that I've been trying to figure out how to use. I layered the image over the patterned paper and added a creamy satin ribbon, too.

When the sides of the card are extended, the wiper piece becomes visible. I used the large acorn image and the "I forgot" sentiment on a cream circle that I placed on the Melon Mambo wiper mechanism piece. What a totally fun belated birthday message!
