Here’s my card for the second round of the SCS fall clean and simple challenge design team search. This round’s theme was fashion, translated as using designer paper on a clean and simple card.

I went with a school theme again, using a piece of Cosmo Cricket’s The Boyfriend pencil patterned paper for the panel on my cardfront. A strip of coordinating gold cardstock runs along the bottom of the designer paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Teacher set from
Clear and Simple Stamps in black ink and accented it with a brown button. A row of paper piercing draws attention to the sentiment. I added a simple bow to make the card a little more feminine. It’s just perfect for letting a special teacher know how much she’s appreciated!
Materials Used:
Teacher stamp set, Perfect Little Black Dress ink (Clear and Simple Stamps); Crumb Cake cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Harvest Gold cardstock, Harvest Gold grosgrain ribbon, button (Papertrey Ink); The Boyfriend designer paper (Cosmo Cricket); twine (The Cat’s Pajamas)
Love this card, nice, CAS!!! Great use of the patterned papers on this.
