And Away We Go

***Scroll down to the post below for info about a special birthday event!***

This week’s TCP Tuesday challenge is an inspiration one based on this fun photo collage. I was inspired by the rock and roll theme, plus the circle shape of the record in the photo. All of that translated in a roundabout way to this cute circle card that features a rockin’ clown car.

I built the card on a black card base. I used a slightly smaller circle, made from a dotted paper with a piece of solid gray at the bottom to act as a road for the car. After coloring and cutting out the clown card from the new Clownin’ Around stamp set, I attached it to the card with a penny/foam tape mechanism that allows the card to “rock” from side to side. Hard to show in a photo, but a lot of fun in person! I added a pair of white felt clouds made from the CutUps Cloud Border die and stamped the “and away we go” sentiment from the Away We Go set to finish things off.

We'd love it if you'd play along with us in this week's challenge and show us how the photo collage inspires you. One lucky participant in this week’s challenge who uploads their card to the guestbook on Alma’s blog will be the recipient of the weekly Cat Cash prize. And, be sure to stop by Alma’s blog throughout the week for links to the Cat Pack’s creations using these colors.
