TCP Tuesday 198-Feeling a Bit Peckish?
It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and this for week’s color challenge, I’ve brought you a super soft mix of pastel colors that are perfect for a springtime (or wishing for springtime!) creation. Check out that yummy combination of soft pink, aqua, and mossy green!
I used the Warm Fuzzies set from the last release for my card. I used a combination of paper piecing and coloring on my girlie image, mixing and matching solids, spots, and stripes for a fun look.
I attached a piece of pink patterned paper to an aqua card base to make a background for the girlie. The panel’s edged along the right side with a light scalloped border cut with the CutUps Queen of Hearts border die. A delicate paper doily peeks out from underneath the opposite side of the panel. After wrapping a strip of pink cardstock with a little pink baker’s twine and attaching that over the card, I added the girlie using foam tape. The set’s “feeling a little peckish?” sentiment is stamped on the pink strip just above the twine.
I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge for your chance to win some Cat Cash. Just upload your project to the photo album on Alma’s blog to enter—and be sure to keep an eye out for the links to the rest of the Cat Pack’s projects that she’ll be posting throughout the week.
