Here's my card for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use pink. Yes, my post's title features the color gray in it, but my card's definitely in the pink.
Our Craft Lounge's Love in the Air stamp set as my focal point. The balloon was colored with Copic markers and cut out, then attached to the pale gray cardfront with foam tape.
I slipped a pair of die cut white felt clouds underneath the image to make it look like it was floating in the sky, then stamped a few heart trailing the balloon in a dark pink ink. The set's "you make me happy when skies are gray" sentiment is stamped to the left of the hot air balloon, also in dark pink ink. It looks a little more red in the photo, but IRL it's a pretty rose color . . .
Love in the Air stamp set (Our Craft Lounge); Marshmallow cardstock (Bazzill); Soft Stone cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Vivid Tea Rose ink (Clearsnap); markers (Copic); CutUps Cloud Border die (The Cat's Pajamas); white felt; foam tape
