TCP Tuesday 222-Just Clownin' Around

For this week’s TCP Tuesday challenge, Julie’s asking us to pull out some washi tape (or make some of your own) and use it on our creations. This was the perfect opportunity for me to use up some of the tape I’ve been hoarding and admiring for way too long!

When I saw this black, white, and gray striped tape, I decided it would make the perfect road. I placed a strip of the tape along an aqua card base, then added the penguin-filled card from the Clownin’ Around set. The car’s colored with Copic markers and cut out, then attached with an  action wobble spring so that the car wiggles around. Too fun! The set’s “just clownin’ around” sentiment is stamped on a red notch-ended strip that extends just beyond the left edge of the card.

For all the details on this week’s challenge and how you can play along to be eligible to win this week’s Cat Cash prize, stop by Alma’s blog or the TCP forum on SCS.

Materials Used:
Clownin’ Around stamp set, Neenah white cardstock (The Cat’s Pajamas); Versafine Onyx Black and Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Poppy Parade cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Stardust Stickles (Ranger); decorative tape; action wobble spring
