TCP Tuesday 228-Catch a Dream
It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and this for week’s color challenge, we’re going with a pretty trio of bold colors—daffodil, olive, and navy.
I used the Wish set and this week's Deconstructed Sketch for my card. I colored the bunny and the moon with Copic markers and cut out the colored image with a combination of scissors and a craft knife. The image is placed on a navy blue circle with foam tape.
I used a blue gingham paper for the two panels underneath the image. The gingham panels are matted on matching navy cardstock and machine stitched around the edges, then set on a piece of yellow dotted paper. I attached a strip of yellow cardstock over the two gingham panels and stamped the set's "catch a dream" sentiment at the bottom of the panel before adding the image panel and a piece of olive ribbon.
When I stamped the image, I omitted the string and small star hanging from the end of the branch in the bunny's hand so I could replace them with a little twine and a shiny silver star brad.
I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge for your chance to win some Cat Cash. Just add your project to the InLinkz gallery on Alma’s blog or upload it to the SCS gallery using the keyword TCPTUES228 to enter. You can find all the details in the TCP forum on SCS.
