CSS Group Post-Giving Thanks
With Thanksgiving coming up soon, giving thanks is on everyone’s mind, so it’s the perfect time to highlight ideas for thank you cards. Today, members of the Clear and Simple Stamps design team are sharing thank you cards made with stamp sets from the Collection 5 release.
Here’s my all-occasion thank you card featuring one of CSS’s new cardstock colors along with the Cloudy Days and Cloudy Days Sentiments sets. I used this week’s sketch from Retro Sketches as my starting point and went with a mostly monochromatic design.
I used the cloud patterned side of the Imprints 3 plate on the Party Teal Dawn panel. The panel is matted on white cardstock and attached to the My Style Blueprint card base. I stamped a small piece of My Style Blueprint cardstock with one of the dotted cloud images from the Cloudy Days stamp set in matching My Style Blueprint ink. The panel is matted on white, then layered on the Party Teal Dawn panel using foam tape. I stamped the “thank you for everything” sentiment from the Cloudy Days Sentiments set in You’re Such a Gray-cious Host ink on a vellum strip and adhered that on top of the cloud panels. The vellum’s a perfect addition to a cloud-themed creation.
Be sure to check out the thank you cards created by the rest of the CSS team. Here’s where to find them:
