Paper Smooches SPARKS-November Cool Shades Challenge


This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Cool Shades challenge, based on the color story seen here.  I used the colors to create a fun masculine card.

The card uses the Paper Smooches My Guy stamp set.  I made a simple scene using some blue waves, cut with an Edgeabilities scallop edged die, on an aqua panel.  I stamped the set's fishing pole image directly on the aqua panel with gray ink, then used dimensional dots to add the brightly colored fish to the scene.  A fluffy white felt cloud in the upper right corner adds a little texture.

I set the scene on an aqua panel on an angle.  To break up all the aqua, I added a half circle of aqua patterned paper peeking out from underneath the image panel.  The "you're reel great" sentiment is stamped on an orangey strip set across the card and accented with a twine tied button.
