Bee Mine

Here's my card for this week's Retro Sketches challenge.  I made a simple, sweet Valentine's Day card using Bee Mine, one of the new releases from Lawn Fawn, now available at i {heart} papers.

The set's bee image was stamped on a scrap of white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out.  I used dimensional dots to adhere the bee to a blue panel, then stamped the little dotted trail (love the heart shape!) behind it in gray ink.  The set's "bee mine" sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the panel in red ink

I adhered the panel to a piece of red chevron patterned paper that I'd die cut with a large label die.  The panels are wrapped with some red baker's twine and secured with a bow, then set on a golden yellow card base.

If you didn't get all the crafting goodies you wanted in your holiday gifts--or are looking to pick up a few gifts for yourself--make sure you stop by IHP to check out the big year end clearance sale going on through January 2.There are lots of great deals available and no coupon code is needed to take advantage of the sale.  Happy shopping!
