The Cat's Pajamas March Release Blog Hop

Here’s my project for the hop—and for this month’s TCP Tuesday color challenge, too. I used the new Hare Today set along with kraft and white as my neutrals, and blue as my one color. My one patterned paper brings a few more colors into the color scheme, so maybe I cheated just a bit . . .

I colored the bunny image just a bit, then paper pieced his umbrella with a scrap of fun floral patterned paper. The cutout image is set on a blue panel debossed with a dotted pattern. I was going for a kind of raindrop-like look with that. I added a pair of fluffy felt clouds, cut from a strip of clouds made with the CutUps Cloud Border die. The set’s “missing you” sentiment” is stamped on a kraft notch-ended strip and adhere at the top of the blue panel.
