Bundle of Joy

Here’s my second take on the current sketch at Seize the Sketch. I made a baby card using stamps and papers from Lawn Fawn. I took a little inspiration for my design from the sweet little blue striped knit baby booties seen in the inspiration photo for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.

Bundle of Joy-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I stamped the stork image from the Plus One set on white cardstock and colored it a bit with Copic markers, then paper pieced the bundle using a scrap of patterned paper. The cutout image was adhered to the top of a simple scene made from a pair of Lawn Fawn patterned papers. I used a blue striped paper for the sky and a green dotted paper, punched with a grass border punch, for the grass. The set’s “bundle of joy” sentiment was stamped on the green dotted paper in black ink. I matted the scene on green cardstock, then adhered it to a light blue card base over a turquoise cardstock panel.

There’s still time to play along with the current sketch, so I hope you’ll join us. You can see more inspiration from the STS team here.
