The Challenge 31-Kiss, Kiss

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  Next up in our new weekly format is an inspiration challenge based on the photo seen above.

Kiss Kiss card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama ElephantI took my inspiration from the kissing couple, the text background, and the color scheme to make this whimsical card using stamps and dies from Mama Elephant.  My kissing duo is the sweet panda pair from the Pandamonium set.  I used foam tape to adhere the stamped and die cut pair to a text patterned paper panel.  A tiny red heart was stamped between them in red pigment ink.

To give the text patterned panel a weathered look, I inked the edges with gray distress ink.  I adhered half of a white paper doily to the panel's left edge, then topped it with the sentiment, stamped on a red scallop edged strip.  The finished panel was adhered to a pale gray card base.
