Seriously

Here's my card for this week's sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  This one came together quickly with a pair of die cuts and a sentiment stamp.

Seriously You Rock card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lil' Inker DesignsI started out by die cutting a star shape from a white panel. The panel's negative space was filled in by a piece of sparkly gold paper.  Once the star was filled in, I added the die cut "seriously " on top.  For dimension, I used the Seriously Word Die from Lil' Inker Designs to cut the word several times  then stacked the die cuts before setting them in place.

The "you rock" sentiment from the coordinating Lil' Inker Designs Seriously Awesome set was stamped just beneath the die cut word in black ink.  I adhered the finished panel to a black card base for a nice contrasting pop.

Materials Used:
Seriously Awesome stamp set, Seriously word die (Lil' Inker Designs); Versafine Onyx Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); gold paper (Target); Pierced Star Stax die (My Favorite Things)
