Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 281-Tank You
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week’s sketch is a square layout and I actually followed the directions and made a square card!
I used the Fintastic Friends stamp set and coordinating dies from Lawn Fawn for this one. I replaced the sketch’s round panel with the set’s almost round fishbowl image. The fishbowl—and fish—were colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching fishbowl die. I used foam tape to adhere it to a blue square. The square was matted with orange cardstock to match the fish, then adhered to a piece of blue patterned paper. I tucked a kraft fishtail flag strip underneath the fishbowl image panel, then stamped the “tank you” sentiment at the bottom of the panel in black ink. The finished panel was matted on orange cardstock, then adhered to a blue card base.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog. Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch. And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch.
