SugarPea Designs July Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop

It's time for the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop!  Now that our June release has been available for a while and lots of you have gotten your hands on the new goodies, we're back to share even more inspiration using the latest arrivals in the store.

Let's Celebrate card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs

I can't get enough of the fantastic Celebrate All the Things stamp set and the SugarCuts Celebrate and Party Banner Duo dies!  I love how they work together for cards for so many occasions.  Here, I combined them to make a festive card with a pretty smooshed ink panel.  After inking my watercolor paper panel and letting it dry, I used the scalloped frame from the new SugarCuts Birthday Journal Card set to cut out a large panel.

Then, I cut the word "celebrate" from the panel and from a Sugar Puff foam sheet.  I layered the paper die cut onto the foam die cut and placed it back into the opening on the panel.  It's such a cool look and so easy to do!  I stamped the "let's" just above the word in silver ink and heat embossed it, then added a layered banner across the right corner.  The scalloped panel was matted on silver cardstock, then adhered to a turquoise card base with a coordinating green cardstock strip across it.  A few sparkly turquoise enamel dots complete the design.
